About Faceit 458
Collage on a wooden panel measuring 60 x 60 cm. Mixed media (watercolor, ink, and paper), subsequently varnished and signed. This unique work is number 459 from the Faceit series. It can theoretically be hung on the wall as is, but I recommend framing the work. Please request a quote for this.
Berrie Coelman (Enschede) is a businessman and visual artist. Even during his art education (Royal Academy, The Hague), he filled entire sketchbooks with faces, attempting to paint as roughly and imprecisely as possible. He takes photos of faces from magazines and develops them into artworks. He started the Faceit series in 2000. By now, nearly 500 Faceit works have been created.
